Brisbane Festival will fill the city with live art from 4 to 26 September 2020.

Queensland’s most anticipated event, Brisbane Festival takes over the city for three weeks each September to present captivating performances, pop-up surprises and awesome art installations.

Brisbane International Film Festival

Exciting news – BIFF 2020 opens on Thursday 1 October at GOMA with the Australian premiere of ‘High Ground’ 2020, a moving film inspired by Australia’s untold history, set in the extraordinary Northern Territory. ‘High Ground’ 2020 is the second feature film from Stephen Maxwell Johnson, director of ‘Yolgnu Boy’ 2001.

Australian PGA Championship 

Australia’s most energetic golf tournament, the Australian PGA Championship is returning to Royal Queensland Golf Club from 3 to 6 December 2020.

Woodford Folk Festival

Australia’s largest gathering of performers, the Woodford Folk Festival is held every year between 27 December and 1 January at a dedicated 500-acre site known as Woodfordia, one hour’s drive north of Brisbane.

ATP Cup

The ATP Cup is a new men’s team competition featuring 24 of the world’s top nations competing in Australia over two weeks in January, with group stages to be held across Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. Brisbane will host two groups of four teams from December 31 to January 5.

Laidley Christmas Street Festival

Santa Clause is Coming to town Friday, 27 November 2020 from 5.30pm to 8pm. The night will feature twilight trading of local businesses, jumping castle, ham wheel, circus street performers, face painting, kids activities, market stalls and displays, food stalls, ambulance, police and fire truck displays.

The Planting Festival
